Argentina, the biggest wine producer in South America, is also the fourth biggest wine producer and consuming market in the world. Up to now, there are four legal producing regions including Lujan de Cuyo, San Rafael, Maipu and Valle de Famatina. San Juan and Mendoza are the two most famous producing regions, other famous regions include Rio Negro and Salta. The most important region is Mendoza, with 60% population of the country.
